		<description>Too true. It was meant as hyperbole. I'd take Zeppelin, the Beatles, or Elvis over The Darkness any day. Permission to Land is fun to listen to, though.</description>

		<description>Wow.  I'm gonna have to disagree with you there.  I just listened to the samples for all the songs on "Permission to Land" and I really don't understand what you're raving about.  It sounds like a throwback to 70s/80s big hair bands.  A *bad* throwback.  Sure they have one or two half-way decent songs on there, but most of it sounded pretty bad.  Certainly nothing to justify asking "Is it possible to overstate the importance of The Darkness within the world of rock music?"  The only way that they'll be important to the world of rock music is if they inspire some other, better bands to develop.

Now, don't get me wrong.  I love rock, but I'd say it's pretty sad if these guys are the posterchildren for rock in this decade.</description>
